Resumo: Currently, the Tourism sector is constantly expanding and plays an important role in the world economy. The search for sustainability proves to be crucial and sustainable tourism is increasingly relevant due to the acceleration of environmental degradation and the capacity to destabilize economic progress in developing countries. While these have problems such as great population growth and lack of technology for the efficient exploitation of natural resources, developed countries consume these resources excessively due to their lifestyle. It is necessary to find solutions for a common objective: sustainability. Through this research, the concept of practice is exposed, as well as objectives, problems, who acts and who participates. How tourists can positively impact this type of tourism and whether it is profitable for economic, social and environmental applications.
