Resumo: Military Tourism can be articulated with existing products in the market, applying the 'creativity concept' and benefiting from the tourist activation of the military heritage. Tourist resources generate the capacity to motivate tourist visit and enjoyment, being the tourist potential fundamentally qualitative and the general infrastructures determinant in the relationship between cultural attractiveness and visitors. In this research and in the context of military tourism heritage, a case study was carried out in the municipality of Peniche, in order to analyze the potential of existing military resources for tourism activation and its implication in the national tourism strategy.
