Resumo: The importance of entrepreneurship for the development of nations is currently unquestionable, which is why the analysis and treatment of the subject acquires special relevance. The present article supports a theoretical framework where the phenomenon of entrepreneurship is analysed and substantiated from a multidimensional point of view, which serves as a basis for developing its main objective, which is to present arguments on the economic, psychological, socio-cultural and managerial approaches necessary for the development of the phenomenon of entrepreneurship in line with international demands and the characteristics of Ecuador. It delves into the meaning, current sense and necessity of the entrepreneurial culture, starting from the economic sciences, although with a multidisciplinary and constructivist character, with a holistic, systemic and evolutionary vision of reality.
