Resumo: This study highlights the importance of conventual sweets in tourism promotion through a bibliometric review and content analysis, adopting a qualitative methodology to explore the historical and cultural relevance of these culinary practices. The research focuses on how conventual sweets can be used to enhance and attract tourists to the places where they are produced. The analysis reveals that, in addition to being a crucial element of the gastronomic heritage, conventual sweets serve as an essential narrative pillar in tourism marketing strategies, providing a deep cultural experience that transcends taste and touches the imagination of visitors. This work contributes to the understanding of how traditional cuisine can be effectively integrated into tourism marketing practices, emphasizing the need to preserve and promote conventual sweets not only as a gastronomic legacy but also as a valuable tourism asset.
