Resumo: The tourism sector was hit hard by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the past two years, suddenly causing its downturn due to travel bans to tourist sites around the world. Community Tourism that takes place in the southeast of the state of Campeche occurs mainly in the municipality of Candelaria, due to its vast areas of vegetation, flora, wild and endemic fauna, as well as aquifers that are attractive to tourists, the objective The purpose of the investigation was to analyze the economic impact due to the confinement caused by the pandemic in the ecotourism sites of the municipality through observation, questionnaire and interviews previously validated by means of Cronbach's alpha coefficient with a satisfactory value of 0.80, the results were analyzed using the IBM program Statics, indicating that the income as of April 2020 has a resounding drop in which the income of each ecotourism site maintained a catastrophic panorama for 11 months, the loss of jobs of 89% and the lack of support from the government state generated an economic destabilization in the families that depended on this tourist activity tica during and after the critical period of the pandemic.
