Resumo: In recent years, the morbid component has played a central role in the attractiveness of tourism around the world. Phenomena such as dark tourism, disaster tourism or even in places of conflict have been chosen by tourists as outstanding destinations for their vacations (Cakmak & Butler, 2019; Seabra& Korstanje, 2023; Seraphin, 2017). From this perspective, the present book Battlefield tourism edited by O. Akbulut, Y. Etkin, M. And. Guler and O. Saribas, offer us nine interesting chapters that connect war or battle tourism to the emerging field of cultural tourism.
