Resumo: Villavicencio, the capital of the Department of Meta, known for its cultural offerings and natural landscapes, is an attractive destination for local, national, and international tourists. However, the city faces significant challenges due to the presence of numerous informal tourism operators that compromise the quality of services. In this context, the implementation of a sustainable tourism model emerges as a crucial alternative, capable of integrating economic, environmental, and social interests. To address this complexity, methodologies such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and network analysis techniques such as MICMAC and MACTOR were applied. These methods allowed for the identification of strategic variables and the influence of key actors in the tourism sector of Villavicencio. The results highlight the need to promote responsible practices and regulations that ensure quality services and promote sustainability. The analysis provides a foundation for strategic decisions aimed not only at enhancing competitiveness but also at ensuring its long-term viability as a sustainable tourist destination.
