Resumo: This paper examines the conflicts generated from the sale of land for residential tourism and the construction of hotels, restaurants, and tourist businesses in the El Tepozteco National Park (PNT). It is based on the case study because these communities have a tradition of fighting against tourism projects directed from abroad on their lands. For example, the PNT communities that have been dispossessed of their lands due to the interest of certain community members and authorities in the land have resisted However, despite this resistance, this process continues to grow, albeit discreetly, due to the interests of the various actors. In this way, a panorama of tensions is presented that makes it difficult to reach agreements between the different parties to generate a more democratic and inclusive activity.
