Resumo: The objective of this study was to quantify the number of studies that have been carried out on Sustainable Tourism Development and Sustainable Gastronomic Tourism. Preliminary data were obtained from the Scopus bibliographic database, which were subsequently analyzed in the VOSviewer tool; this platform was carried out an analysis of: co-authorship; co-occurrence; citation and co-citation. The results obtained showed that several countries that are in Asia and Europe generate a greater amount of research on these topics. Among the most predominant investigations are oriented to the structuring of the conceptualization of the term 'Sustainable Development', the care of water, food and local activities to promote agricultural projects related to tourism. It is concluded that this work constitutes a contribution that strengthens the academic literature on sustainable tourism and gastronomic development as a basis and guide for the development of future research.
