Due to what has happened worldwide in reference to Covid, it is necessary to promote rural areas affected by social and economic restrictions, betting on the revaluation of the natural environment through the selection of elements that facilitate their integration into what we call nature tourism. In the province of Ca?ceres, peppers have been sown since 1493 and produced the coveted Paprika “Pimento?n de la Vera” with Protected Designation of Origin since 2005, currently hosting more than 600 farmers and 17 industrialists.
The objective of this research is to put Nature Tourism into practice in response to the fact that rural development policies are increasingly betting on encouraging agricultural production and propose territorial projects with cultural identity that benefit the resident population through the enhancement of their heritage and landscape. Methodologically, after knowing the history and analyzing its built and natural heritage, territorial units and landscape units will be made in order to establish those milestones that are required to be part of the tourist offer.
Finally, it will be verified that tourism is possible in rural areas where the local economy is reactivated through the enhancement of a spectacular landscape, where the anthropized nature due to the infinite plantations of the precious vegetable, benefits the practice of a Nature Tourism that can be enjoyed with all the necessary security measures after a pandemic.
