Resumo: In recent years the coastal municipalities of the Region of Murcia try to promote new tourism activities in order to attract visitors throughout the year. The Minor Sea is the best example of regional sun and beach tourism. However, given the new motivations of tourists, who increasingly demand new tourism products, marine tourism appears as an opportunity to complement tourism and preserve the cultural and identity identity of the area. Therefore, this article analyzes the existing heritage in this geographical framework linked to fishing. The results show how in all the environment of the mar menor there are elements that have a direct link with the fishing activity and that could be used as tourist resources.
