Resumo: Tourism and Heritage interaction is studied from different disciplines because of the variety of effects that occur with each other. It can’t be forgotten that tourism is primarily an important industry and, as such, its scope on the assets, chosen for their operation, causes the conversion of these into products ready for public  consumption. For this conversion, in terms of Historical Heritage, new solutions to revitalize it, introducing a new program in its history – tourist use, hotel–. The main issue starts with the change of use and program. How to restore it? How to adapt it? How to transform it? And making the most of this heritage and its surroundings is a privileged area for cooperation, laying the founding stone for the development of quality and sustainable tourism.
