Resumo: At the present time, sun and beach destinations need to renew themselves. Therefore, many governments have been promoting the creation of renewal policies.The aim of this study is to analyse national, regional and local tourism policies in Necochea,Buenos Aires, Argentina that are focused on the renewal of the town as a tourism destination and its territorialisation process. These variables will be analysed within the framework of national and regional tourism policies. The methodology is based on general and descriptive variables for the knowledge of tourism policies in Necochea and their orientation; also, the analysis of variables focused on the territorial implications of those policies, to reflect on their impact in the renewal of Necochea as a tourist destination.The results allow to distinguish certain guidelines for Necochea tourism policy that result in territorial trends that are emergent and not so evident, with gaps between enunciation and territorialization.
