Resumo: This research is carried out in Cuban tourist destinations such as Villa Clara and Jardines del Rey, with the objective of evaluating through a set of specific indicators and an aggregate index and the level of management of economic, environmental and social risks as a contribution to sustainability in the tourist destination. To fulfill this objective, a system of indicators aligned with the critical success factors was selected. After this is defined, if the selected indicators for risk management and the Risk Management Level index in the Tourist Destination object of the study are calculated, a proposal for further actions to improve it is then prepared if a feasibility analysis is carried out. In the development of research, several tools have been used, such as group work, personal interviews, consultation of documents, use of the simple method of ordering, the method of experts, visits to the installations, the quality of the scientific support of the investigation. As a result, it was obtained that the risk management in the studied destination according to the scale used is found at a medium level.
