Resumo: Interests that drive students to choose a Tourism degree will condition their behaviour in their studies and later on. In order to identify such interests we carried out a survey addressed to the first year Tourism students. A factorial analysis was conducted finding the main factors in the degree choice: Internationalization, Job expectations, Entrepreneurship, Sector importance and Interest for the degree. Finally, we completed the research identifying the expectations about their professional future in the tourism field.
