Resumo: Tourism sites are the subject of perception that is transformed into a single image and/or collective. At the same time the tourist space is offered as image built to meet tourists’ expectations and dreams. The Sardinia island seems continuing to present over time an image as a «wild and uncontaminated» land, a vision far from truth a part from some of its internal areas, as confirmed by a recent research carried out through questionnaires submitted to a reasonable number of tourists in the area.
