Resumo: The Moroccan northern coast between Ceuta and the frontier with Argelia is nowadays one of the emergent touristic regions with greater importance in this extensive world destination, that it is composed of the whole of countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. Although the touristic development model, that has been promoted up to now, has tried to minimize environmental and landscape marks, this objective has not always been reached. Paradoxically, nevertheless, the crisis that nowadays exists in the main investment countries in this sector could be the best ally of the environmental interests, since a lot of projects has been stopped, which, in our opinion, must be deeply redefined in the future, not only in their sizes, but in their territorial impacts.
