Resumo: The Region of Murcia has known in the second half of this century important mutations, so much from the territorial point of view as in demographic and economic aspects. These changes have been more remarkable in certain environments, like it is the case of the coastal towns, where the peak of the tourism begun in the sixties has propitiated the displacement or the competition with activities so traditional as the agriculture.
