Resumo: The increase of the secondary housings has been very strong during the last years. The important ascent of the wealth of the country and the development of the tourism are their basic causes Their territorial localization it is unequal. In the tourist areas they concentrate the biggest quantities. They are also abundant those located in the vicinities of the big urban areas. However, the biggest proportion, on the total of existent housings, corresponds to those areas where they have registered strong exodus emigratorios. An explanatory model of her territorial distribution is elaborated. The derived consequences of everything are it big.
