Resumo: The recreative use of Sierras de Segura and Cazorla (Jaén) has become in one of the more effective alternatives for the new social and economic development on those depressed regions along the last decades. Several natural (water, vegetation, fauna) and juridical factors (the ownership of mountains is chiefly public) and the decided intervention of Public Administration to implant a new turistic structure have contributed to reach that development.
