Resumo: Believing that the future is pro-leisure, and acknowledging the evolutional changes of our society, we therefore have to plan and program leisure activities for the active tourists. It is important to note that today's tourists are not yesterday's tourists thus tomorrow's tourism cannot be today's tourism. This paper intends to demonstrate that tourism gains, in occupation, with the implementation of leisure activities and, as a consequence of this occupation, the increase of tourist income. Particularly with golf, being a leisure sport activity, we introduce data that permits us to verify just how much one region has to gain with the implementation and promotion of this tourist attraction, complementing the other types of tourism already implanted.
