Resumo: In recent years we have been witnessing a profound transformation in society as a result of the evolution of Information Technologies and Communications, which boosted the development of a wide range of new services that facilitate interaction at a global level. There was also an evolution of mobile devices, which are now increasingly integrate features and have become increasingly common tools in our day- to-day. More recently, as a result of the emergence ofthe Web 2.0 paradigm, ordinary users are no longer just consumers of content and now also have the ability to create and share. We become thus a new type of consumer, designated prosumer. It is in this context that the research work described in this article is included and aiming to study the role that participatory culture and Web 2.0 services may have in the enrichment of tourist experiences in the context of m-Tourism, leading to what designate as m-tourism 2.0. The scope of this research work restricts tourism experience considered to museum visits. To consolidate the concept of m-Tourism 2.0 proposed we considered appropriate to develop a prototype that allowed to validate that concept.
