Resumo: The paradigms of the social sciences emphasize the need for lifelong learning to awaken the critical skills and promoting citizenship. To the educator, whose ideals of education go beyond the traditional atmosphere of the classroom, emerges a possible way: Tourism in the dynamics of the school. Thus, the educational work becomes the protagonist in the development of sustainable tourism. In this sense, we consider the interests and values, the real experience and perception of students and teachers to the community where they live. Based on the concepts of participatory methodology and issues such as tourism, environmental education, equity and sustainable consumption project “Educational Tourism: a door to the inclusion”, aimed at the objectives: to promote, together with public institutions, sensitization and training of teachers tourism and environmental education in schools from the sensory experience and roadmap Urban sense - IPHAN. As a result we point out that is a different proposal that takes shape in the face of context for each school, according to the values and practices of each place and in line with the new social demands, to cope with the complexity that caracterizes the current tourism context, with regard to inclusion and appreciation of local culture.
