Resumo: This paper is part of a larger study, and is an investigation on the viability of considering the Algarvian city of Olhão a literary tourism destination. Due to the privileged geographic location of this city, its tangible and intangible heritage and the reputation of the Portuguese writer Raul Brandão, we were able to establish a series of connections between Olhão and Os Pescadores (The Fishermen) showing the pertinence and feasibility of the proposal.
