Resumo: Cultural activities is a relatively new type of tourist activity, developed with marketing purposes from the last decades of the twentieth century and that generates income and socioeconomic development to locations across the globe. This study aims to analyze the behavior of tourist visitor on Serra da Capivara National Park in São Raimundo Nonato, a city in Brazilian northeast, assessing the variables of motivation, satisfaction, image, information sources and future behavior. To achieve the objective, 217 questionnaires were applied to people who already knew the park, after the data collection univariate analyzes and linear regression tests were applied. The results indicate the sources of fragility disclosure on this tourist destination and great evaluations of its image. Linear regression showed average explanatory power for the scenario in which the satisfaction had significant effect on the other variables.
