Resumo: This article aims to identify the level of potential environmental concern with respect to tourists destinations, making sure that this kind of behavior influences in their responses to the evaluation of a destination. The study is quantitative in nature and is characterized as descriptive. We interviewed 279 subjects who were experiencing a virtual situation assessment destinations for tourist. The results show that 54.8% of respondents are concerned about the environment and sustainability of the locality. However, it was found that variations in demonstrating the level of environmental awareness of the participants had little influence on their responses evaluated. Thus, although a greater percentage of consumers who indicate they are sensitive to these issues when evaluating a tourist destination, it is believed that this sensitivity tends not to influence your answers. That is, it is likely that consumers are more interested in cultural issues, natural attractions and places for fun.
