Resumo: The new dynamics of tourism, along with increased competitiveness in the sector, induce greater demand on companies, reinforcing the need for them to focus on improving the quality of their services, and specifically, the sustainability of their projects. The Autonomous Region of the Azores has a tourism sector with significant potential for growth and enhancement, although, as it is an emerging destination, it has particular development characteristics, which justify a consistent approach to its strategic segments, including, in particular, nature tourism. This article focuses on the theme of quality applied to the product of nature tourism and the tourist entertainment sector, presenting the results of an empirical research on the perspectives and motivations of tourist entertainment agents in the Azores on the quality of their services.
