Resumo: Based on the identification of two European medium-sized cities, located in a central country and in a semi-peripheral country, respectively Groningen in the Netherlands and Coimbra in Portugal, we aim to know the structure and density of the cultural offer of both cities under the tourism framework and thus discuss the attractiveness of cultivated public. The online cultural agendas were identified as the main subject of study in a predominantly qualitative approach, an intensive observation, throughout the year 2012, under a comparative strategy. Cultural activities while registration units were subjected to a content analysis, using a scale that identifies its typologies of leisure practices and the logic of cultural reception of the objects. The density of the cultural offer in Coimbra is weak, heterogeneous and subject to local policies. In Groningen the cultural offer is more homogeneous and dynamics.
