Resumo: The development of experiential rural tourism allows improving economic income at the family and community level. The objective was: To compare and analyze the activities in the development of rural tourism activities, which influence in the improvement of the economic income for the families of the Quechua communities of the Capachica peninsula. The methodology applied was to record and systematize the activities to develop experiential rural tourism. Results. The potential of natural areas such as: beaches, viewpoints, handicrafts, and living cultures, allow the interest of tourists to visit the area. With the intervention of the project, 61.2% are dedicated to tourism and 38.4% to handicrafts, for example, in the community of LLachón, the increase of tourists in three years was 194%. The conclusion is that Quechua families are entrepreneurs at the family level in rural tourism activities, which allowed them to improve their income.
