Resumo: The present investigation analyzes the relationship between the strategy and the innovation in the tourist attractions of the department of Quindío. The methodology used was deductive, qualitative, descriptive, and case study, with the Multiple Correspondence Analysis (ACM) method, 12 organizations that provide tourist services and classified as attractions were selected, primary information was obtained through a survey and a semi-structured interview applied to legal representatives, and secondary information through documentary review. The results show that large organizations have formal and systematic processes in which they integrate strategic and innovation management, unlike micro, small and medium-sized companies that are more empirical in direction and management, and therefore, their innovations tend to be more circumstantial. It is concluded that there is an association between the organizational strategy and innovation in the tourist attractions under study.
