Resumo: The main objective of this study was to identify the key hotel attributes that are highly valued by business tourists. Firstly, a literature review was conducted, then the researchers examined a set of characteristics of hotels listed in the National Tourism Register in Portugal to understand how they cater to the needs of business tourism. Additionally, the study investigated guests' evaluations of these hotels using Booking.com ratings and Python programming language. Univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted on relevant variables, and QGIS was used to map the distribution of business hotels in the country. The analysis revealed that a set of attributes, such as superior quality of service, availability of amenities for business travellers (such as workspaces, meeting rooms, and connectivity), and opportunities for leisure and recreation, are frequently associated with business hotels. This research can aid hotel management and investment decisions by providing insight into the most valued attributes of business hotels and how they target this market segment.
