Resumo: The Castille Canal has become a tourist resource for the territory. Associated with this hydraulic infrastructure are architectural elements that attract visitors. This heritage has been maintained thanks to public interventions which, in addition to allowing its conservation, have turned the Castille Canal into an attraction for tourism and hikers. This article aims to highlight the Castille Canal’s heritage as a tourist resource and to analyse the role of the programmes launched to rehabilitate and recover this heritage.
