Resumo: The objective of this research is to propose the shrimp experience as a tourist product resulting from the orange economy to generate cultural tourism in Pedernales, while creating new spaces for innovative development. From a methodological point of view, the proposal is framed as a mixed approach, with an exploratory and projective method, through a special project creating a new tourist, productive and human product, supported by empirical and field sources. The result includes four episodes in the shrimp production chain through an itinerary, accompanied by the scientific description and tourist services offered in the laboratory, on the shrimp farm and in the packing house, ending with the visit to the pier. It is concluded that this proposal is pertinent to the communities since it contributes to the economic, innovative, social, touristic and cultural aspects, through the design of a quality experience circuit.
