Resumo: The port of Loreto, Mexico, is a tourist destination with outstanding characteristics for the practice of nature and cultural  tourism. The objective of this investigation is evaluating the visitor's satisfaction from the different attributes and/or tourist attractions of the destination. It is a quantitative type of work that uses the methodology designed by the SECTUR-CESTUR (2013) of Mexico to determine the profile and satisfaction of the tourist, which was adapted according to the environment. A general visitor satisfaction index of 8.5 was obtained, classified as satisfied tourists in agreement on the used instrument. It is concluded that Loreto has excellent competitive and comparative advantages, which are given by attributes such as hospitality, food and beverage services and accommodation; although there are also some areas of opportunity such as the access infrastructure to the destination.
