Resumo: Proposal of a new methodology for the analysis of the quality of the public urban space for people with mobility disabilities. This issue is so important, because it is relevant not just for people with disabilities. As result we will obtain a new kind of map where will be represented the architectural barriers and the slope by street, quarter or district. So if we do represent on a map all the streets which a person with mobility disabilities can not use, we will obtain a real accessible map. Suddenly, we will realize that the city is not connected at all for a person in a wheel chair. That accessible areas that are unconnected around the city is what we call accessible island. With this methodology the user will have a map with all the information so he will manage to make his own accessible routes.
